An alien fast food chain — Crumb's Crunchy Delights — descends on Earth with plans to harvest human flesh as their newest menu item. After wiping out the New Zealand town of Kaihoro, the country's Astro-Investigation and Defense Service is called in. When an aid worker is captured by the aliens, the operation escalates from rescue mission to all-out assault on the aliens' headquarters.
